• Launch of Subaru’s first-ever diesel. The 2.0-litre unit will go on sale in the Legacy initially, before being developed for the Impreza and new Forester.

• New Forester launched.

• Prodrive @ Goodwood (ongoing) – Take a trip round the legendary Goodwood circuit in all manner of Prodrive cars, including the Impreza STI.

May

• WRC: Acropolis Rally, Greece – Also the competition debut of Impreza WRC2008.

June

• WRC: Rally of Turkey
• Royal Highland Show
• Japanese Tuning Show 2008

July

• British Motor Show in London, where Subaru return with a show stand.
• Royal Welsh Show

August

• WRC: Rally Finland
• WRC: Rally Deutschland

• Diesel engine to be offered with Impreza

2009

• Subaru Tribeca receiving a facelift in line with that already on sale in the US
• Subaru could launch seven-seat Exiga MPV in UK, albeit probably only if it is offered with diesel engine
• Subaru R1e, an electrically-powered city car, could go on sale in the UK if there is sufficient demand.

Beyond...

• A new sports car developed with Toyota is in the pipeline.
• A possible hybrid model could appear, as Subaru have been the key developers of the new generation technology that will be used in the next Toyota Prius.
